Snowy morning

When I got up this morning, it was snowing.
The park and houses outside were covered in white.
Can I drive to the office?
My car has not yet been put studless tires.
Fortunately the roads in front of us were not covered with snow.
The main roads might be the same.
As I expected, it was no problem to drive with normal tires.
Now snow has stopped.
I was lucky enough to get by with no studless tires today.
Snow would come again before spring.
I suppose I have to change the tires sooner or later.

You live in a warmer town, CUBE290. I suppose the climate there is affected by the warm currents running nearby.
I was suprised to hear snow-seeing excursion. I don't know you have little snow in spite Mt. Fuji is situated there.

Snow falls rarely in Shizuoka. I haven't seen any snow near my house for over twenty years. Snow-seeing excursion is scheduled as a yearly event of nearby kindergartens as a matter of fact! So little snow observed around here.
